Reliving Life as a Student in Communist East Germany

In a museum in Leipzig young people can not only learn, but also experience what school would have been like under the Communist system.

 

Imagine what it was like to be a student in communist East Germany where almost every move made was being watched and monitored. Now in the east German town of Leipzig young people can do just that. Cool joins some as they are put into a classroom re-enactment where they experience how school played a major role in the political formation of young people.
